Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Malaysia is set to witness an extraordinary sporting event as the Gamuda Land 3x3 Basketball Malaysia Tour 2023 kicks off. This ground-breaking tour, the first of its kind in the country, will bring together top-notch teams from across Malaysia to compete in an exhilarating 3x3 basketball tournament.

From June to October 2023, the Gamuda Land 3x3 Basketball Malaysia Tour 2023 will be hosted in prominent locations, including Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya, Penang and Johor. In Klang Valley, this tour will be held in three of Gamuda Land's prominent townships: with the opening match happening at Gamuda Cove, Kuala Langat, followed by twentyfive7, Kota Kemuning, and the competition finale at Gamuda Gardens, Rawang. The tour promises to captivate basketball enthusiasts with its high-energy matches and showcase the extraordinary skills of Malaysia's finest basketball players.

“We are honoured to be part of this Gamuda Land 3x3 Basketball Malaysia Tour 2023 as a title and venue sponsor. In Gamuda Land, the hallmark in all our township developments is creating places where the community can come together and get to know one another. We inject a breath of excitement into spaces in hopes of bringing the wider community together.”, said Larissa Chan, Executive Director of Commercial Real Estate, Gamuda Land

The tour promises to captivate basketball enthusiasts with its high-energy matches and showcase the extraordinary skills of Malaysia's finest basketball players. The tour's affiliation with the Fiba 3x3 World Tour Series sets this competition apart with ground-breaking innovations: The tour's points will be linked to the world ranking system, allowing players to enhance their world ranking. Hence, the tour aims to bolster the local players' ranking points, reinforcing Malaysia's international basketball position in the basketball arena.

The U18 Girls' team has made history by qualifying for the U18 World Cup in Debrecen, Hajdu-Bihar, Hungary, which will be held from August 30 to September 4, 2023. Currently ranked 45th globally and 8th in Asia, Malaysia has achieved its highest-ever historical record for this category. This outstanding accomplishment is a testament to the continuous efforts of the Malaysian Basketball Association (MABA) and its players.

MABA, in collaboration with 2Cool Productions Sdn Bhd., as the event organisers, would also like to thank our other key sponsors, such as LI-NING, the official attire sponsor, MOLTEN, the official ball sponsor, and Celebrity Fitness, for their unwavering support and the fitness partner.

The event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, in particular Gamuda Land as the Title and Venue Sponsor. Gamuda Land's invaluable support and steadfast advocation in creating townships and places where the community can come together and get to know one another, make them an ideal partner for this exciting competition.
